Testimonials

This place has saved my life in a way I will never be able to repay them. The program taught me how to be a dignified woman in recovery from alcoholism and an eating disorder. I have a bigger life then I ever believed possible, a better relationship with my family than I’ve ever had, and healthy and important friendships with multiple girls. It is a difficult program because you are made to look at yourself in your addictions and how they effect others, which is very difficult to do, but I trust this staff 110% with my life and what they ask of me. The clinical and support staff are so filled with love for every girl that comes in and are amazing examples of how a healthy person should treat others. They have given me self-confidence and brought my laugh back, and for that I will always be in debt to them.

I’ve worked in the field of Addictions for 32.5 years. And you will rarely see me ever give any treatment programs a review. But Ocean Recovery is most definitely one I will write a positive review for. Their treatment team is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. My clients that I’ve referred to Ocean Recovery have all had positive experiences. I’ve visited treatment programs all over the world. And I’ve worked as an interventionist referring my clients to programs all over the world. And I will say unequivocally that Ocean Recovery is one of the best in the business. I also have a list of some of the worst programs I won’t mention. But in my professional opinion, Ocean Recovery is worth its weight in Gold.

I owe my life to Ocean Recovery. I never thought it was possible to be able to be free from my disorders but with Oceans it is. I never thought true recovery from my eating disorder and alcoholism was possible. I have been to more treatment places than I can count but there is nothing that can compare to the help I got there. I came out from Canada because I had been kicked out of all the places there. Oceans gave me a chance. They did not give up on me and fought for my life. They give their heart and soul into each client. If you want to get better give yourself the opportunity to go to Oceans. it is the hardest but best thing you will ever do. I cannot say enough good things. I will forever owe my life and freedom to each person who helped me on my journey.

This placed saved my life at a time when I felt as if I didn’t have much more life left to live. It’s the only treatment center that I’ve ever been to that actually teaches the fundamentals of living a healthy life. They weren’t afraid to tell me the truth about myself. If it wasn’t for Ocean Recovery, there’s no possible way i would be where I am in life today.

I don’t really know how people get sober anywhere else. Prior to coming here, I had no intentions of staying but that quickly changed— the staff were so helpful and taught me to love myself. The groups were so informative and today I know that I don’t need to use or drink in order to feel good. Thank you Oceans for allowing me to become the person I am today. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with an Eating Disorder or Alcoholism.

I have seen so many women and men be successful in their recovery journey due to this program. Specifically, I had a close friend who was unable to be successful for years and after completing Oceans, she celebrates 5 years in a few months. Hearing about how Oceans can treat BOTH substance abuse and mental health is why we chose this program. Highly recommend!

Ocean Recovery is the one place that finally helped to change my life. I've been in and out of treatment centers and rehabs for 20 years, and in a continuous spiral. The staff at Ocean Recovery finally broke through my diseases, helping me to see that I deserve a life worth living, but had to take action if I wanted it. With a tough love approach that had never been given to me before, and the knowledge and proof that they weren't going to give up on me, I've now been able to begin living the life I've always dreamed of. I have nothing but amazing things to stay about the entire staff at Oceans Recovery, the program, and the amazing therapeutic approaches that have proven anyone can achieve solid recovery.

I have lived most of my life feeling not good enough, not a part of, and confused why I was in so much pain. I had no idea that I would ever have the ability to live a life free from my demons. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I would not be able to do it without Ocean Recovery. Every member on the clinical team, whether I work directly with them or not, has a genuine and deep passion to know the ins and outs of every individual who walks through their door. I learned there that they would “love me until I could love myself.” And they truly do. As a client there, I worked hard because the time and effort spent on me was genuine. Ocean Recovery taught me what safety feels like and what genuine connection and vulnerability feels like. I met some of my best friends at Ocean Recovery who teach me daily how to be a true, loving, and caring friend. This is a life-changing program if you let it be. I truly owe my life to Oceans and I am forever indebted to their unwavering love and kindness freely given to me.
