Support Staff
Job Description:
Ocean Recovery is a multi-faceted, gender-specific, licensed residential treatment center located in Newport Beach, California. We specialize in treating men and women suffering from drug and alcohol addiction and/or eating disorders. Our program offers highly individualized treatment with emphasis on biological, psychological, educational, and social needs so as to allow for healing of the whole self in the recovery process. Our facility has openings for full-time and part-time support staff. The qualified candidate will take direction from clinical staff and work with clients during the evenings and weekend shifts. Support staff are responsible for the safety and security of clients, including drug testing/Urinalysis, medication distribution, and client transportation.
Qualifications:
- If in recovery must have two years sober
- Understanding of cross-addiction including eating disorders, and codependency
- Ability to interact with patients and staff on a comfortable basis
- Basic communication skills
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Current CPR/First Aid certificate
